Our History

 

The History of Nirankari Group began 66 year ago,

Mr. S.L Khurana founded Nirankari Electroplaters in 1956 by establishing the
plant in Delhi for electroplating home Appliances.

Expanding our horizons in 1996, we started our 2nd electroplating plant in Faridabad for automobile part.

In 1999 Our Chairman Mr. G.D. Khurana took an environmentally conscious decision to be the first electroplating company in India that seized the use of Cyanide and completely shifted to non cyanide operations.

To meet the massive growth of the automobile industry and the demand of 20th century M/s Nirankari Group initiated building of an electroplating zone in sector-58 Faridabad Haryana (Non Residential location). It was important so as to make this sector an organised one.

In this new facility M/s Nirankari terminated the use of Hexavalent process in 2004 and moved to trivalent chemicals also it was such a bold decision that even we refused hexavalent business just to make the industry aware about it’s hazardness.

Their after in December-2017 setup a plant for CED Coating process with Scada Controlled which was our first experience with paint technology but in less than a year we achieved many new developments for M/s Hyundai through M/s Continental in which we were successful in making a imported part localised which made our journey even more exciting towards new learnings.

In 2019 we installed a new Scada operated barrel line which has both Zinc & Zinc Nickel Processes in this line we have installed 3-s Membrane anode which is a patent technology which only Nirankari group has which provides uniformity and consistent plating so to assure best quality to our respected customers.

In 2021 Installed Zinc Flake Coating (Geomet) Process a NOF product.

A Zinc and Aluminium flake coating is an inorganic binder and Environmentally conscious coating.

And Today M/s Nirankari Group have a 10 different Surface Coating Processes under one roof with 11 Plants (Scada and PLC Controlled)
